Personal Injury and Wrongful Death

A Personal Injury claim involves an injury to one's body, mind or emotions. For example, if one is injured in an automobile accident due to another's negligence, personal injury covers any actual physical harm one might suffer, as well as the pain and suffering one experienced as a result (ie: broken bones and bruises).

A Wrongful Death claim may be brought when someone's death is caused by the fault of another. Examples of wrongful conduct that may lead to death include drinking and driving, manufacturing a defective product, building an unstable structure or failing to diagnose a fatal disease.
